The gite was constructed in 2004 from mainly reclaimed materials on the original site of a 350 year old barn, retaining many character features,including exposed beams and rustic stone walls, modernised to give every comfort.
It has it’s own private terrace complete with garden furniture and individual barbeque.
To the front of the cottage there are raised beds containing shrubs and flowers. There are also small lawns directly outside. The meadow to the front is solely for the use of the guests.
There are panoramic views over the surrounding countryside,the town of Duras in the distance and the village of Levignac. There are no overlooking properties,the Gite being surrounded by fields and meadows,so peace and privacy is guaranteed.
To the side is the superb swimming pool with it’s spectacular views ,and to the rear of the properties meadowland,woodland walks a large pond and of course fantastic views.
Sun Loungers ,benches and other garden furniture are provided within the pool area which is laid to lawn with walnut trees giving welcome shaded areas. The whole pool area is fenced and gated as is the law in France to provide security for children.
Accessed from the pool area is the utility room complete with all laundry facilities and another w.c. for use of the guests when poolside. |
